The Front Intertwine – An evergreen style, it looks great on women of all shapes and sizes.
Step 1 – Wear the dress and simply take both the straps behind.
Step 2 – Put the second strap on the first one so it overlaps.
Step 3 – Start twisting them in an anti-clockwise direction until you reach the mid-back.
Step 4 – Separate them and bring one around each side of the waist, crossing in the front and knot together in the back.
Cap Sleeves – This is our personal favorite. Looks a little bit more complicated to tie but it’s worth it.
Step 1 – Wear the dress and place each strap over one shoulder.
Step 2 – Take one strap and twist it inward twice close to your collar bone (approximately 4 inches below your shoulder) and repeat this for the other side.
Step 3 – Fan out the strap so that it covers your shoulder. Repeat this for the other side.
Step 4 – Take both the straps behind and interlock them once mid-back, pull them to the front and wrap around the waist.
Step 5 – Cross the straps in the front and tie a knot at the back.
The Cross Front – If you would like to show off your back, this is an ideal style for you.
Step 1 – Wear the dress and cross the straps over to the other shoulder.
Step 2 – Bring the straps to the back and start twisting them in an anti-clockwise direction until you reach the mid-back.
Step 3 – Separate them and bring one around each side of the waist, crossing in the front and knot together in the back.
Cross Back – A simple one, this style will look amazing on women with fuller bosom. If you don’t want to show off your back, I would recommend wearing this style.
Step 1 – Wear the dress and take both the straps to the back.
Step 2 – Simply cross both the straps keeping them wide.
Step 3 – Wrap the straps around your waist once or twice, based on your preference.
Step 4 – Bring the straps to the back and tie a knot.
Draped back – This style will give you a full coverage but will not compromise on the look! Suitable for a whimsical themed wedding.
Step 1 – Wear the dress and spread the straps out wide.
Step 2 – Place both the straps comfortably on your shoulder and cross them at the back.
Step 3 – Tie a loose knot and bring the straps to the front, wrapping around the waist and bring them together to the back before tying a knot.
Halter Bow – If you decide to try the “Halter bow” style, remember to style your hair such that they come in front from one side. Only then will your bow will be visible at the back.
Step 1 – Wear the dress and take both straps behind to wrap around your neck.
Step 2 – Tie a knot at the back of your neck and tie a bow. Let the straps drape downwards.
The Knotted Shoulder – This style features a V-neck in front and cross at the back, what a stunning style to add in your bridal party!
Step 1 – Wear the dress and tie individual knot on each of the strap close to your collar bone (approximately 4 inches below your shoulder).
Step 2 – Take the straps behind and interlock the straps once.
Step 3 – Bring both the straps to the front and wrap around the waist. Then take them behind and knotting at the back.
The Knotted Front – This style is also one of our favourites, elegant and stunning! Don’t forget the back details too, put your hair up or let your hair down to create different looks!
Step 1 – Wear the dress and tie a knot at the neckline before taking both straps to the back.
Step 2 – Bring both straps together at the back and place strap 1 over strap 2.
Step 3 – Start twisting the straps tightly together a few times.
Step 4- Separate them and bring one around each side of the waist.
Step 5 – Cross the straps in the front and knot together in the back.
One Shoulder – If you are looking for a style that is contemporary, then the one shoulder style is the one for you!
Step 1 – Wear the dress and take both straps over one shoulder.
Step 2 – Bring the straps over the shoulder and crisscross.
Step 3 – Separate them, take one strap and pass underneath the arm around the waist. Take the other strap and cross the back to pass underneath the other arm around the waist.
Step 4 – Wrap around the waist, crossing in front and bring them to the back and tie a knot.
